American driver Brandon Davis, Huntington Beach, CA, grew up just miles from the temporary street circuit known as the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.  His career has been established in the road racing series of World Challenge GT, World Challenge Touring Car and Trans-Am Series.  He is currently using the road racing talent to transition to the NASCAR K&N Late Model Series Racing.  The new venture takes place on road courses and ovals.  In order to acquire the necessary oval experience, he has been racing at the local track, Irwindale Speedway.

In 2010, Davis raced in the World Challenge GT series at Long Beach, placing third.  The rest of the 2010 season was spent as developing and testing a Ford GT for the American Le Mans Series.  Brandon Davis, along with teammates Boris Said and Townsend Bell, were instrumental in fielding the #10 Ford GT at the 2010 Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.  The effort was short lived when Davis took a serious hit during a practice session.  The chassis frame damage was severe and unable to be repaired before the race.

Brandon Davis earned the 2009 World Challenge GT Championship title by scoring points in each of the ten races driving the #10 Ford Mustang GT.  In his Championship season, this former Rookie of the Year earned three qualifying pole positions, finished on the podium seven times and scored one victory at Mid-Ohio.   He displayed his skill as a professional driver on temporary street circuits and permanent road courses with equal finesse completing all 252 race laps throughout the season.  Davis credits the team’s reliability as the Ford Mustang Cobra endured over 1470 racing miles without a mechanical failure or DNF.  While the 2009 SPEED World Challenge GT season was not dominated by any one driver or team, Brandon Davis took the points lead after three races and held onto it until the finale by scoring in the top ten at every event.  At Mid-Ohio, Davis started from the pole and scored a flag to flag victory.

In 2008, Brandon Davis scored two World Challenge GT victories (Long Beach Grand Prix and Road Atlanta), qualified on the pole three times with six podium finishes in the 10 races.    At Long Beach Grand Prix, his fastest race lap time (1.26.205 / avg 82.185 mph) remains unbeaten. He finished the season Third in Championship points.

From 2004 – 2007, he drove the Real-Time Acura TSX in SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Championship.  Davis earned the 2005 Rookie of the Year honors and scored an impressive eight top ten finishes in 11 events and his first career pole position.  Davis’ first victory was the closest finish in series history of 0.005 seconds lead at the 2006 Grand Prix of Denver. He ended the year with nine top ten finishes.  In 2007, he placed in the top ten four times including a third place at Laguna Seca. After the third place podium celebration, he suited up for the World Challenge GT race with his father, Mike Davis, in a Saleen SR finishing 12th. 

Davis made is professional racing debut in the BFGoodrich Trans-Am Series on Father’s Day, 2004 at the Portland International Raceway racing alongside his father, Mike Davis.  Brandon Davis raced in the #99 Spy Ford Mustang at Portland, Infineon Raceway and Denver Grand Prix, all with top ten finishes. 

His first races laps were in a go-kart at age seven and to this day, he races shifter karts.  Davis transitioned from go-karts to stock cars at Danny McKeever’s Fast Lane Racing School and with private coaching from Boris Said at age 16. ACS
