Mike Davis,

ACS Express Racing, Team Owner

Mike Davis, former World Challenge and Trans-Am Series driver of the #11 Applied Computer Solutions Ford Mustang GT, brings three cars to the World Challenge Championship field as a team owner.   As an entrant, the 2010 season marks his sixth year racing in the World Challenge Series.

Mike Davis’ ACS Express Racing Team has engineered and developed the Ford Mustangs for each series keeping the legendary styling with racing performance. His three drivers, Brandon Davis, Boris Said and Tomy Drissi will be sporting the 2011 Ford Mustang GT bodywork. 

Mike Davis has always been loyal to the Ford brand.  His professional racing began in 1999 driving a Roush built Ford Mustang in the Trans-Am Series.  Until 2005, Davis accumulated over 50 starts and 17 top ten finishes in the Trans-Am Series.  In 2002, Mike Davis celebrated the BFGoodrich Trans-Am Championship won by teammate, Boris Said and the 100th Ford Victory.

Davis entered the World Challenge Series in a Saleen Mustang before developing the 2006 Ford Mustang Cobra.  Last year his son, Brandon Davis, won the World Challenge Championship in the 2009 Ford Mustang GT and delivered Mike’s second Championship as a team owner.

In addition to Trans-Am Series and World Challenge GT, Mike has competed in Rolex Grand-Am Series, NASA 25 Hour at Thunderhill, SCCA National and Regional Events and VARA Vintage Racing.

Mike Davis lives in Sunset Beach, California with his wife, Sandy. They co-founded Applied Computer Solutions of Huntington Beach, California.   Mike and Sandy have two sons, Brandon and Sean. Mike is a private pilot and volunteers with Angel’s Flight, an organization dedicated to providing private flights for patients with healthcare and other compelling human needs.  In his spare time, he plays golf, scuba dives and enjoys bass fishing.
